Blueberry Balsamic Compote

Most blueberry compotes stop at sugar and lemon. This one starts with Lush Orchard Fruit Balsamic, a Greek fruit balsamic that adds a depth people notice and ask about.

The recipe comes from Kelly Calton, who co-owns [Outside the Lines Painting and Crafts] with her sister. She made it as the filling for her [blueberry balsamic spice cupcakes], and it was too good not to share on its own.

Frozen berries work perfectly, so you can make it any time of year. Spoon it warm over pancakes or yogurt, top a cheesecake, or set it with a little gelatin for a cake filling.

Don't wash the pan. Pour in another half cup of balsamic and make our [One-Ingredient Lush Orchard Balsamic Reduction]while it's still warm.

It's a pantry staple. It's a gift. It's an experience. Same bottle.
