What is The Outward Olive?
The Outward Olive is a curated pantry and gifting house rooted in one belief: meaningful connection begins around the table. We offer ultra-premium olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and thoughtfully curated gift collections designed to bring people together, whether that's a weeknight dinner, a hostess gift, or a milestone celebration.
Where are you located?
Our tasting room is at 794 N Main Street, Crown Point, Indiana 46307. We're open Tuesday through Saturday, 10am–5pm, and Sunday 12pm–3pm. We're closed Mondays. Phone inquiries are welcome during business hours.

Where do your products come from?
Our olive oils and balsamics are sourced from small, family-run producers in Tunisia, Greece, and Italy. Each relationship is chosen for quality and care, from the growers to the bottle that reaches your table.

What is the Pantry Collection?
The Pantry Collection features Tunisian extra virgin olive oils infused with plant-based flavors, made for everyday cooking with intention. Flavors include Slow Roasted Garlic, Sapore Italian Herb, Basilico Parmesan, Golden Butter, Tuscan Tomato Parmesan, Aged Parmesan, Garden Garlic & Cilantro, Smoked, Wildwood Sage, Lumière Truffle, Bright Jalapeño, and Ember Onion.
What is the Signature Estate Collection?
The Signature Estate Collection features Greek extra virgin olive oils from a single family estate, cold-fused with locally sourced fruits and herbs during the milling process. No additives, no shortcuts. The collection's flagship is Olea Reserve, our unfused, early-harvest, high-phenolic Kalamata EVOO.
What is Olea Reserve?
Olea Reserve is our signature extra virgin olive oil and the flagship of the Signature Estate Collection. Unlike our infused oils, Olea Reserve is intentionally left unflavored to showcase the natural character of early-harvest olives from a single estate in Kalamata, Greece. It's bold, peppery, and high in polyphenols, made for those who appreciate an authentic, single-source olive oil.
What is the Finishing Collection?
The Finishing Collection is our line of flavor-infused balsamic vinegars from Modena, Italy, crafted for the last beautiful moment of a dish, whether that's a drizzle over burrata, a reduction over roasted vegetables, or a dipping moment that slows the table down.
What is Entertaining Essentials?
Entertaining Essentials is our collection of tools and accessories made for effortless hosting, from serving pieces to dipping bowls and other pieces that round out a beautifully set table.
What is Gathered Provisions?
Gathered Provisions brings together the extras that elevate everyday meals and gatherings: hand-harvested sea salts, Mediterranean olives, artisan tapenades, dipping blends, and cocktail mixers. Serving pieces and kitchen tools can be found in our Entertaining Essentials collection.

What are Gift Sets?
Our Gift Sets are curated collections built for giving, ready to send. This includes the Table Collection, the Wrapped Collection, and seasonal collections like the Father's Table Collection.
What is the Table Collection?
The Table Collection includes several curated gifting sets, each built around a flavor profile and occasion: The Bold Table, The Cozy Table, The Bright Table, The Everyday Table, and The Lasting Table. Every Table Collection arrives in a premium hard-sided gift box with a magnetic closure and cushioned interior, along with a gold foil card featuring pairing and serving suggestions.
What is the Wrapped Collection?
The Wrapped Collection pairs one of our extra virgin olive oils with a finishing balsamic vinegar for a complete gifting moment. Each set includes a ceramic dipping bowl and a card insert with serving ideas, wrapped together in natural linen. The Wrapped Collection comes in three versions: No. 01 Gather, No. 02 Savor, and No. 03 Unwind.
Do you offer wedding favors or bridal shower gifts?
Yes. Many of our Wrapped Collection and Table Collection sets make beautiful wedding favors, bridesmaid gifts, bridal shower favors, and rehearsal dinner gifts. Because they're already beautifully packaged, they're easy to give in bulk while still feeling personal.
Do you offer corporate gifting or realtor closing gifts?
Yes. We offer curated corporate gifting for businesses looking to thank clients, recognize employees, or celebrate milestones, and many real estate professionals use our collections as closing gifts and client appreciation gifts. Rather than a traditional promotional item, our collections are designed to be used and remembered long after the gift is given. Reach out to us directly to discuss bulk orders and timing.
Do you offer seasonal gift collections?
Yes. Throughout the year we release limited-time seasonal collections tied to holidays and gatherings, most recently our Father's Table Collection, which features Olea Reserve, a cast iron mortar and pestle, Fire-Crushed Black Garlic Sea Salt, and a recipe card. Seasonal collections are produced in limited quantities and may not return in the same form once they sell out.
Visiting & Events
Can I taste before I buy?
Yes. Our tasting room in Crown Point is set up to let you sample our olive oils and balsamics before you buy, and our team is happy to walk you through flavor pairings.
What is Thursday Pour?
Thursday Pour is our weekly tasting event, held every Thursday from 5–8pm. It includes complimentary olive oil and balsamic tastings and wine by the glass.
What is Pour It Forward?
Pour It Forward is our fundraiser tasting night series. A share of each event's sales goes directly to a local nonprofit or organization, turning an evening of tasting into real community support.
Do you host private events?
Yes, including corporate appreciation nights, realtor client gatherings, and milestone celebrations. Reach out through our Contact page to book a date.
Shipping & Ordering
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, we offer free shipping on orders over $150.
Can I pick up my order in-store?
Yes, in-store pickup is available at our Crown Point tasting room.
Can gifts be shipped directly to the recipient?
Yes. Many of our collections are packaged in a way that makes them easy to ship directly, whether that's a wedding favor order, a corporate gift, or a personal gift you'd rather not carry yourself. Reach out to us if you need help with timing or logistics for a larger order.
